Fire Doors

Fire Doors are essential safety components that function as ordinary doors with additional fire-resistant features throughout most of their operational life. The design and construction involves specialized knowledge from architects, fire experts, door manufacturers, and ironmongers. Fire doors require robust construction capable of accommodating glazed panels and ironmongery while resisting wear, tear, and potential abuse in daily operations.

Compartmentation for fire containment follows local regulations determining required fire resistance periods. Vision panels may be fitted for safety, with single panels positioned no higher than 1000mm above floor level to ensure visibility for wheelchair users from both sides.
